The Science
Most water filtration removes the visible. Ours removes the invisible — the microplastics shed from conventional plastic bottles, the PFAs that persist in municipal water supplies, the heavy metals that accumulate silently over years of consumption.
Our 7-stage reverse osmosis system harnesses proven filtration technology — refined and applied to deliver bottled water at a standard the industry has never prioritised. The result is water measured not by what it contains, but by what it does not.

The Membrane
Reverse osmosis works by forcing water through a semi-permeable membrane at the molecular level. At 0.0001 microns, the pore size is 500 times smaller than a bacterium — and 1,000 times smaller than a microplastic particle.
PFAs — the so-called "forever chemicals" — are blocked entirely. What passes through is water, and water alone.
The Threat
Studies now detect microplastics in human blood, lung tissue, and breast milk. PFAs — found in conventional water supplies worldwide — are linked to hormonal disruption and immune suppression.
Maison Pure removes both. Not partially. Completely. Because there is no acceptable level of contamination.

The Process
01
Sediment Pre-Filter
Removes large particles — sand, rust, and suspended solids — protecting downstream membranes.
02
Activated Carbon Block
Eliminates chlorine, chloramines, and volatile organic compounds that affect taste and odour.
03
Reverse Osmosis Membrane
A semi-permeable membrane at 0.0001 microns — blocking microplastics, heavy metals, and PFAs at the molecular level.
04
Post-Carbon Polish
Final carbon stage removes any residual taste compounds, delivering water of exceptional clarity.
05
Mineral Rebalance
Trace minerals — calcium, magnesium, potassium — are reintroduced in precise ratios for optimal hydration.
06
UV Sterilisation
Ultraviolet light eliminates 99.99% of bacteria and viruses without chemicals or additives.
07
Final Purity Check
Every batch is tested against our 47-point purity standard before it reaches your bottle.
The Material
Polyhydroxyalkanoate — PHA — is a bioplastic produced naturally by microorganisms. Unlike conventional plastics derived from fossil fuels, PHA is synthesised from renewable biological sources and returns to the earth without leaving a trace.
It is the only plastic certified to biodegrade across every environment — industrial, home, soil, freshwater, and open ocean. Not in theory. In practice, and under independent certification.
TÜV Austria · Certco Certifications
Industrial Compost
Fully biodegrades in industrial composting conditions within 12 weeks.
Home Compost
Breaks down safely in home composting environments — no industrial facility required.
Soil Biodegradable
Certified to biodegrade in soil without leaving toxic residue or microplastic fragments.
Water Biodegradable
Safely biodegrades in freshwater environments, protecting rivers, lakes, and wetlands.
Marine Biodegradable
The highest standard — certified to biodegrade in open ocean conditions. Because the sea deserves better.
Certified by TÜV Austria via the Certco programme — the global benchmark for biodegradability verification.
